CS2 Power Rankings Week 27 2026: G2 and 9z Crash the Top Ten

29 Jun 20264 min read

The top three remains frozen with Vitality, Falcons and Spirit holding their positions, but the real action in Week 27 sits just below. G2 jumped five spots to seventh while 9z leapt seven places into eighth, both teams exploiting recent results to force their way into the elite conversation. Natus Vincere dropped three ranks to fifth, a fall that narrows the gap between the presumed contenders and the rest of the field.

G2 and 9z Rewrite the Top Ten

G2's five-spot climb to seventh (337 points) marks the team's return to relevance after months of inconsistency. The rebuild around huNter-, NertZ and the additions of SunPayus, HeavyGod and MATYS finally appears to be delivering. Sitting just 129 points behind Aurora in sixth, G2 has positioned itself as a live underdog in any tier-two bracket.

9z's surge from fifteenth to eighth is even sharper. The South American roster now sits at 283 points, sandwiched between G2 and MOUZ in a cluster where a single deep run can completely reshuffle the order. For bettors, 9z has historically traded on volatility. This ranking validates the ceiling but does nothing to fix the floor. Expect sportsbooks to overreact to the name value when 9z draws a top-five opponent.

MOUZ dropped one spot to ninth but the points tell a tighter story. At 280, MOUZ sits three points behind 9z and six behind G2. The gap between seventh and ninth is negligible. Any of these three teams can be priced as a favourite against the others depending on map pool and form, which creates line-shopping opportunities when they meet.

Natus Vincere Stumbles, FURIA Rises

Na'Vi's three-rank slide to fifth (613 points) is the headliner among the supposed elites. The gap to Spirit in third is 79 points, which sounds survivable until you consider that FURIA in fourth sits just eight points behind Na'Vi. The Aleksib-led roster is still within range of the top three, but recent form suggests the team is drifting in the wrong direction.

FURIA's one-spot rise to fourth should not be dismissed as cosmetic. At 621 points, the Brazilian-Russian hybrid is the closest challenger to Spirit and sits in a tier of its own between the top three and the rest. The combination of FalleN's leadership, KSCERATO's consistency and YEKINDAR's aggression has produced the kind of stable results that rankings reward. FURIA is a safer play than Na'Vi in any neutral matchup right now.

Falcons gained two spots to second but remains 82 points behind Vitality. The gap is wide enough that Falcons would need a title while Vitality bombs out early to close it. For betting purposes, Falcons at second and Spirit at third are functionally identical. Both teams can beat Vitality on the right day, both will be underdogs when they do.

The Bloodbath from Ten to Fifteen

BetBoom surged four spots to tenth (274 points), a move that gives Boombl4's squad breathing room in a chaotic range. The MongolZ dropped two to eleventh with an identical 274 points, meaning these teams are separated by tiebreakers alone. Legacy cratered six spots to twelfth after sitting just outside the top five a week ago. The fall from grace is steep and the 271 points leave Legacy vulnerable to further slides if results don't stabilize.

GamerLegion fell three spots to thirteenth while FUT dropped one to fourteenth. Both rosters are in the danger zone where a bad week can knock them out of the top fifteen entirely. B8 climbed one spot to fifteenth, sitting at 185 points, a full 33 points behind FUT. The gap between fourteenth and fifteenth is the widest chasm in the top tier, which makes B8 a clear underdog whenever it faces anyone ranked above.

For bettors, the ten-to-fifteen range is a minefield. BetBoom and The MongolZ are coin flips. Legacy has name value but no recent form to justify it. GamerLegion and FUT are both capable of upsets and early exits in the same event. Treat this cluster as interchangeable unless you have match-specific intel.

Emerging Risks and Value Plays

Outside the top fifteen, TDK jumped eighteen spots to fifty-first with Ax1Le and nafany anchoring a roster that could challenge tier-two events if the form holds. The climb suggests TDK is worth tracking for underdog value in regional qualifiers. On the faller side, Marsborne dropped thirty-three spots to ninety-second, a collapse that removes them from any serious consideration.

The top thirty otherwise holds steady with familiar names. Astralis at sixteenth and FaZe at eighteenth are both one roster move away from top-ten chaos or a further slide into irrelevance. Liquid at twenty-fifth shares identical points with M80 at twenty-fourth, another dead heat that will swing wildly depending on who shows up on match day.

The Week 27 rankings reward recent performance over reputation, which means the next event cycle will reshuffle everything outside the top three. G2 and 9z proved that momentum can override history. Na'Vi and Legacy proved the opposite. Bet accordingly.
