Bushido Wildcats at this price is too long. the book has them at 23.2% fair probability but the best available price implies they win considerably less than that, which is the edge. When the book and the best available market diverge this significantly, and the underlying data supports the the book number, there is genuine value here. The map pool case is the thesis. Nemiga's two best surfaces are Ancient at 83% over 23 maps and Overpass at 73% over 22. But Bushido Wildcats have zero Ancient maps played in the sample with no data, and only four Overpass maps at 75%. With no sample on Ancient, Bushido can plausibly ban it entirely and deny Nemiga their strongest pick. If Bushido get to play on Dust2 (75% over 8 maps) and Mirage (62% over 8), they are operating at win rates that contest a ranked opponent. Nemiga's Dust2 sits at 45% over 22 maps, a surface they clearly do not favour, and their Anubis at 67% is usable but Bushido also hold Nuke at 33% over 6 as a concession pick Nemiga would target. The contrarian angle here is simple: the rank gap of 52 versus 152 is large enough that casual bettors dismiss Bushido entirely. But Bushido's recent record includes wins over HEROIC Academy and ex-Zero Tenacity, and their individual stats are within margin of Nemiga across rating, KAST and multi-kill. This is not a massive upset. the book thinks it happens roughly one in four times, and we're being paid as if it happens less often than that.
