Legacy are the better team right now and the price is wrong on G2. Legacy sit at #8 globally versus G2's #13, carry a 1.21 team rating against G2's 1.17, and average 80 ADR to G2's 77.3. None of those gaps are enormous in isolation, but they all point the same direction, and the book still has G2 priced as a near 60% favourite. That disconnect is where the value lives. The map pool story is the real kicker. Legacy run an 82% win rate on Mirage across 17 maps played. G2 are at 60% on the same map across 15. If Mirage enters the series, Legacy win that map at an extraordinary rate. G2 have no Nuke data at all (zero maps played), while Legacy sit at 57% on Nuke across 14 maps. That is a direct veto weapon for Legacy and a clear structural disadvantage for G2 in a Bo3. Legacy also hold a strong 67% Inferno record across 15 maps versus G2's 60%. The contrarian angle here is that recreational bettors are still booking G2 on reputation. This is not the G2 of two years ago. Their recent run includes losses to Aurora 0-2 and Falcons 1-2, and their wins have come against weaker opposition. Legacy just swept PARIVISION, crushed TYLOO and M80 in consecutive series, and beat Falcons in a Bo5. The price on Legacy at the underdog side of a Major Bo3 is too long. We take Legacy.
