CS2 Power Rankings Week 28 2026: Falcons Reclaim the Throne
The top of the CS2 world has a new king again, or rather an old one returning. Falcons vault back to number one with 883 points, displacing Vitality who slide to second with 823. The 60-point gap tells the story of a team that has found form at the right moment versus one treading water.
Karrigan's squad with NiKo, m0NESY and the rest have looked every bit the superteam on paper that everyone expected when the roster came together. Vitality's drop isn't a collapse, but when you're at the summit, standing still is the same as moving backward. ZywOo remains a force, but the betting markets will start pricing Falcons as favorites in any head-to-head until Vitality prove they can reclaim the edge.
Spirit Hold Steady While FURIA and Navi Stay Locked
Spirit at third with 716 points haven't budged, which in this meta counts as a win. The Russian core of sh1ro, donk and company remain the most consistent outfit below the summit. No movement means no red flags.
FURIA sit fourth at 659 points, also static. FalleN's leadership combined with YEKINDAR and KSCERATO continues to produce results, but the gap to Spirit above and the cushion over Natus Vincere below both suggest FURIA are in a comfortable pocket. They're good enough to punish weaker opponents but haven't cracked the code on the top two.
Natus Vincere at fifth with 541 points complete the frozen top five. Aleksib's system with w0nderful and b1t has stabilized after early-season volatility, but the 118-point chasm between them and FURIA limits upset potential in the short term. Betting Navi as heavy underdogs in tier-one matchups makes more sense than backing them at inflated prices against Spirit or FURIA.
Legacy Rise While The MongolZ Stumble in the Midfield
The only meaningful shift in the top 15 comes at 11th, where Legacy jump one spot to 281 points. The Brazilian squad with arT and dumau have found a groove that makes them dangerous in the second tier of competition. They're now just eight points behind BetBoom at tenth, which puts them in range of cracking the top 10 if they string together another strong week.
The MongolZ fall one place to 12th with 247 points, the victim of Legacy's rise and their own recent stumbles. The 34-point gap between them and Legacy isn't insurmountable, but it's a warning sign that the hype around the Mongolian roster has cooled. Backing them at short prices in qualifiers no longer carries the value it did two months ago.
FUT climb one to 13th while GamerLegion drop one to 14th, a minor swap that mostly reflects marginal point decay rather than any dramatic shift in form. The midfield from sixth through 15th remains a tight scrum where two bad series can cost three spots and two good ones can vault a team back up.
FaZe Crater and PARIVISION Join Them in Freefall
Outside the top 20, the real carnage begins. FaZe plummet three spots to 21st with just 111 points, their four-man roster a glaring problem. Frozen and Twistzz are still capable of big maps, but operating with a stand-in or incomplete lineup has tanked their ranking and their odds. Books haven't fully adjusted yet, which creates potential fade value when FaZe appear in mid-tier events at prices that assume a full-strength roster.
PARIVISION drop three as well, landing at 20th with 129 points. Jame's squad looked poised to break into the top 15 a month ago but have hit a wall. The drop from 17th to 20th isn't catastrophic, but it coincides with a brutal stretch of results that suggests internal issues or a meta shift they haven't adapted to.
Both teams are now stuck in the danger zone where a bad tournament means slipping into the mid-20s and a good one only climbs them back to where they started. The betting takeaway is clear: avoid backing either as favorites until they stabilize and show they can win with consistency again.
The Bottom Half Churn Continues
Further down the rankings, the usual chaos reigns. ReThink rocket up 65 spots to 112th, PCIFIC climb 57 to 98th, and CYBERSHOKE Prospects jump 48 to 72nd. These teams live in the qualifier wilderness where a single deep run can manufacture massive point swings. None of them matter for tier-one betting, but they're worth tracking if you're hunting value in open qualifiers or regional events.
On the downside, Fisher College crater 40 spots to 104th, Johnny Speeds fall 28 to 107th, and Lavked drop 27 to 99th. The presence of Lekr0 and nawwk on Johnny Speeds makes their slide particularly notable, a veteran roster that can't find traction in a scene that has moved past them.
Falcons reclaiming first sets up a compelling dynamic heading into the next major event cycle. Vitality need to respond, Spirit remain the dark horse capable of beating anyone on their day, and the midfield stays compressed enough that any team from sixth to 15th can ruin a parlay. Legacy's rise and The MongolZ' slide suggest the latter are overvalued right now, while FaZe's roster issues make them a fade candidate until further notice.
