CS2 Power Rankings Week 29 2026: BetBoom Climbs Into Top Seven

13 Jul 20264 min read

The Top Stays Frozen

Falcons, Vitality and Spirit hold the summit untouched at 893, 828 and 700 points respectively. The gap between first and third remains substantial enough that any upset in the next tournament cycle would carry serious betting value. Falcons with karrigan's leadership and the m0NESY-NiKo firepower combination continue to set the standard, while Vitality's 65-point cushion over Spirit suggests ZywOo's crew has found consistency after early season questions.

FURIA at fourth with 651 points and Na'Vi at fifth with 548 complete a top five that hasn't budged in rank. The Brazilian-Russian hybrid under FalleN looks settled, but that 103-point gap to Na'Vi tells a story. FURIA's ceiling remains higher but Na'Vi's new roster around Aleksib is still finding chemistry. Anyone betting on a Na'Vi upset in the next few weeks should be asking whether 548 points reflects their true form or just a work in progress.

BetBoom Makes the Leap

The week's most significant move comes from BetBoom, up three spots to seventh with 318 points. Boombl4's squad now sits just four points behind Aurora and has leapfrogged G2, who drop one place to eighth. This isn't a massive points swing but the positional change matters when evaluating matchup odds. BetBoom at seventh means they're seeded higher in any tournament that uses rankings, and more importantly, this roster is trending up while others around them stagnate.

G2's slide to eighth at 308 points doesn't scream disaster but it's a red flag. The post-NiKo era has been choppy and the roster with HeavyGod and MATYS still looks like it's figuring out its identity. When a team loses ground to BetBoom in the same week that Legacy also climbs past them in the broader picture, that's a team to fade in the short term until they prove otherwise.

Legacy up two spots to ninth and MOUZ down one to tenth is the other notable shuffle in the top ten. Legacy at 290 points and MOUZ at 289 are essentially tied, which makes any head-to-head between them a coin flip on paper. The difference is trajectory. Legacy under arT's chaotic calling has momentum, MOUZ looks stale.

The Backslide Below the Top Ten

9z falling three spots to eleventh is the biggest drop in the top fifteen. At 274 points they're not collapsing but the South American side has clearly hit a ceiling. The Argentine core is talented but 9z dropping while Legacy rises suggests the regional pecking order might be shifting. Betting markets will still price 9z as a solid T2 squad but the value is fading.

The MongolZ and FUT both hold at twelfth and thirteenth with identical 236-point totals. These two teams represent fascinating hedges in lower-tier tournaments. The MongolZ with their unique Asian style and FUT's European grind offer contrasting approaches to the same rating. Neither is moving but both remain live dogs in the right spots.

Luminosity's five-spot plunge to 23rd is brutal. Down to 104 points, they've been passed by PARIVISION, FaZe and MIBR in recent weeks. A team falling that hard is either dealing with internal issues or just got exposed by the schedule. Either way, Luminosity as a favorite in anything beyond regional qualifiers looks like a trap until further notice.

What This Means Going Forward

The top three are priced correctly. Falcons, Vitality and Spirit should be heavily favored in any match outside of each other, and even then Falcons deserve respect as the clear number one. The betting edge this week comes from recognizing BetBoom's rise and G2's slide. If oddsmakers are slow to adjust, BetBoom in a Bo3 against anyone ranked eighth to fifteenth suddenly looks more appealing.

The mid-tier compression between sixth and fifteenth is where sharp bettors will find value. Aurora, BetBoom, G2, Legacy and MOUZ are separated by just 33 points. Form and matchups matter more than rankings in that cluster. Pay attention to who's trending up and who's treading water.

The power rankings reflect where teams have been but the movement tells you where they're going. BetBoom and Legacy are teams to back in the right spots. G2, 9z and Luminosity need to prove they've stopped the bleeding before you put money on them.
